The OMV-SfN chapter extends its hearty congratulations to Brent Myers, Ph.D. (left), who received a Postdoctoral Trainee Chapter Travel Award from the Society for Neuroscience. The award included $1,000 and complimentary registration to SfN’s Neuroscience 2012 annual meeting held in October.
Dr. Myers is a post-doc in the laboratory of James Herman, Ph.D., in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati. His qualifying abstract at Neuroscience 2012 was “Stress-activated corticolimbic efferents innervate the posterior hypothalamic nucleus: a novel circuit for stimulating neuroendocrine stress responses.”
